Overview

Experimentally, rheology and broadband dielectric spectroscopy are powerful techniques to probe dynamics of macromolecule and related systems over wide time scales. A combination of these two techniques provides an insightful view of the dynamics of molecular system over wide length scales. Quan’s lab combines the experimental and theoretical tools to understand structure-property relationship of both charged and uncharged macromolecular systems, including polymer blends, block copolymers, nanocomposites, colloidal suspensions, ionomers, and polyelectrolytes.
